Two NFC East teams, a combined 3-9-1 record and one prime-time spotlight: Our Eagles vs. Commanders SNF prediction — Marietta Sports news

It’s an NFC East game on Sunday Night Football, and both teams badly need it. Philadelphia (2-5) has lost five straight, most recently a 38-21 loss in Dallas on Monday night when Dak Prescott threw three touchdowns and Javonte Williams ran for 155 yards. Jalen Hurts is out for the season with blood clots, so Tanner McKee makes his third straight start. He’ll be without receivers DeVonta Smith, Dontayvion Wicks and Britain Covey, and Saquon Barkley is listed with hamstring and back issues, though he’s expected to play. “McKee did his part. The defense did not,” one Eagles writer said after Monday’s loss.
